Today we went to to The Bronx Zoo. It’s a beautiful zoo, very green and spacious. We got up early to make sure we had the whole day there.
We saw the sea lions performing a show for their feeding time. The biggest male was very close to us. He is quite a star!
Then we went on to complete our Quest: the kids had little booklets with maps and we had to stop at various locations throughout the zoo to learn, answer questions and do activities.
The kids had a great day, and so did we. We had given them control over the map, let them decide where they wanted to go and we just tagged along. They are really starting to develop their own interests and opinions.
