Puerto de Sóller

So we are here. Puerto de Sóller, Mallorca. The crossing took us eighteen and a half hours. We could have done it more quickly, but slowed the boat so that we could arrive at dawn. The wind was on the nose the whole way, as forecast – so we motored. The kids took to it like ducks to water, apart from a short period of seasickness, they carried on as if nothing out of the ordinary was going on. They went to bed at the usual time and awoke only to the sound of the anchor setting – perfect!

It’s pretty here – we’ve taken a few days to relax and soak up the atmosphere.
