We are in Washington DC! We were in the Chesapeake area, ready to get the boat lifted out of the water. But due to the uncertain path of hurricane Dorian, we changed our plans.
The hurricane could have caused bad weather where we were: high winds and lots of rain. The yard owners warned us that we would have to postpone our haulout. So we decided to make the most of it and head up the Potomac River to do some sightseeing in DC.
