Our Life on Dry Land Comes to an End

Auto Draft

Antifouling and topsides – check. Max will paint the deck next week. New zincs. We took the swim platform off and fixed some fibreglass damage and replaced the motor on it. Took the prop strut off and sent off to the welder for reinforcing.

It’s been like camping in your own home for the last two and a half weeks. Climbing up and down the ladder to go to the loo. Bianca was nervous at first, but it we all enjoyed it.

Back in the water tomorrow!

  1. So glad to have got together today. Frances and I were saying how really pleasant Ki(?), Beau and Zoe are and how their adventure is making them grown up…good luck with the work. See you before you go.

Bianca, I mentioned beef and gravy at the Lottsburg Cafe. Sorry about that! They have salads but not much vegetarian food, I don’t think. But they’ll probably whip up something if you ask them. Dave.

Hi Dave, we had a great afternoon too. Thank you and Frances so much for hosting us and showing us around! The kids must have been sufficiently worn out because they went to bed very quietly tonight. Looking forward to catching up again soon!

  2. Spacegrazer ziet er weer prachtig uit! Kan me voorstellen dat jullie weer blij zijn als ze in het water ligt. Veel succes met de opgeknapte boot en nog mooie veilige reizen maken.xxx
