We landed on the tiny, car-free island of Ilovik. A beautiful path took us from the uninhabited bay where Spacegrazer was anchored to the little town. Along the way we passed stone walls and olive groves. We saw massive spiders in huge webs. One of them was in the middle of a late afternoon snack – a sizeable cicada.
The town was small and sleepy but it had two of our favourite things: a playground and a small supermarket. The kids loved the crazy high slide in the tiny playground. After everyone, including me, had had a turn going down the slide, we picnicked under a tree and dragged the rest of our provisions back to our boat.
