Getting Here
We had a lovely sail down to our pick up, Pula today. There was just a gentle breeze from astern and we had the sails up straight away. Our boat is not built for speed and we were overtaken by, well, everyone sailing the same course. Many of the boats had kevlar sails and shiny new gennakers.
Today we weren’t in a rush, as we only had 15M to cover, and going 3 knots in a 6-8 knot wind felt ok.
Board games were the order of the day. Lazy days of not doing much.
Pula Arena
Pula harbour seems to be very industrial. Not something we’ve seen since Brindisi. It was lovely ghosting in under sail. We dropped the hook and are keen to explore later. The Pula Arena is clearly visible (I managed to get a shot of it coming in). It looks amazing.

Pick up
Excitement is pretty high on Spacegrazer at the moment for two reasons. One, Beau turns seven on Tuesday. So the build-up for that has been going on since, well since his last birthday really. Secondly Oma and Opa are coming on Beau’s birthday.
So we’re spending tomorrow tidying up and getting things ready.

Gaaf om te zien, ongeveer een jaar geleden waren wij een dag in Pula, stonden op een camping vlakbij Poreç. Dat Colosseum hebben we dua van binnen gezien, heel indrukwekkend als je beseft welke geschiedenis eraan kleeft.
Sinds vorig jaar kan ik wel zeggen dat ik smoorverliefd ben geworden op Kroatië dus snap heel goed dat jullie hier nu lekker genieten!!!!
